Regional elec­tions

The social sustain­abil­ity of soci­ety is measured by how it can ensure humane condi­tions to the lives of those in the most vulner­a­ble posi­tions from their birth to the last day of their life. At the same time, our popu­la­tion is aging, and people’s needs for services at distinct stages of their lives are diver­si­fy­ing. This means that the demand for social and health­care services will increase in the coming years.  

Kokoomus’ goal is that every Finn receives the neces­sary social and health services quickly and with high qual­ity, regard­less of their place of resi­dence or finan­cial status. This requires deter­mined actions to reform services, ensure the avail­abil­ity of person­nel, and secure the suffi­ciency of resources. Kokoomus wants the regions to succeed in their tasks and is will­ing to take the neces­sary deci­sions to achieve this. 

Better services can only be achieved by taking action.
